Walter Helwich believes that the animated comedy “Wreck-It Ralph” directed by Rich Moore, is a real masterpiece. This animated movie stars John C. Reilly, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch.
Walt Disney Animation brings us an animated story about video games, showing us the lives of computer-generated characters from a totally different point of view. The director Rich Moore (The Simpsons), created his first-born, based on the story “Wreck-it Ralph”, which he wrote in collaboration with the duo Phil & Jim Johnston Reardon. Johnston and Jennifer Lee adapted the story in an authentic movie script, which lead us some 30 years back in the past, at a time when video games were just a privilege for smaller number of people (mainly adults and teens). Ralph is the main star, a villain from a video game. Furthermore, Felix is the good guy, who succeeds to amend the situation on the overall satisfaction of building residents, adds Mr. Helwich.
Ralph decides to change something in his monotonous life, when he felt tired. Actually, Ralph wants to receive little attention, a warm human word, and above all, public recognition in the form of medals. Driven by his own ambition, he embarks on a journey into the world of other games, where he will encounter some other colorful characters, such as Calhoun and Vanellope von Schweetz. The Walt Disney Animation team engaged into this project very ambitiously, and they hoped that it will address to wider audience. In fact, these animated heroes remind us all that we used to enjoyed the video games with the same zeal just like these kids today. Therefore, we shouldn’t be surprised by the fact that the $ 165 million invested in production were covered for about 4-5 months. Click here to see Walter's video review about this movie.

Walter Helwich - How to fight stress?
Walter Helwich is not far from the truth when said on his blog that nowadays, stress is a term that is commonly used to define our state, when we feel uncomfortable, but it leaves severe consequences, which are hardly recognizable. In addition, the stress is a quiet killer, which provokes a wide range of diseases such as degenerative diseases, cancer, diabetes etc. The weight gain, mental illness and hair loss are frequent indicators that you have too much stress in your life. But, every human being who wants to live a peaceful and quality mental, physical and emotional life should aim to live stress-free life.
When stressed, the body produces three hormones: adrenaline, noradrenaline and cortisol. All of them are produced by the adrenal glands and all trigger:
- Suppression of neurotransmitter activity
- Disintegration of the endocrine system
- Weak immunity
- Slow digestion
These hormones influence the body’s response to stress. Furthermore, Walter Helwich thinks that the stress causes mood swings, obsessive-compulsive disorders and bipolar hampered hormonal imbalance. They can also cause hair loss and fat accumulation, especially in the abdominal area. In addition, as the stress is becoming a common part of our life, so as the insulin resistance becoming higher, adds Mr. Helwich. When we are constantly in a state of ‘threat’ or ‘emergency’, the body releases glucose in order to provide enough fuel to fight or escape. Unfortunately, this is not quite necessary, so the pancreas produces insulin surge to deal with the onslaught of glucose. Over time, this cycle depletes the pancreas and creates resistant-insulin cells.
When the glucose metabolism becomes ineffective, the rest of the organs such as brain, liver, adrenal glands, thyroid and bowel suffer because of the lack of fuel, and after follow some diseases including high blood pressure, arthritis, kidney failure, neurological problems and ulcers, adds Walter Helwich. American banks earned 42.2 million dollar
According to Walter Helwich, the unemployment rate in the United States in July this year was lowered to 7.4%, which is the lowest in the last four and a half years. The U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Agency (FDIC) announced that U.S. banks from April to June this year earned more than the same period last year, due to significantly lower losses from the bad loans, correspondent agency Anatolia. In the second quarter this year, the U.S. banking sector earned $ 42.2 billion, which is up to 23% compared to the same period last year, says Walter Helwich. In addition, Mr. Helwich states that the losses of U.S. banks on the basis of non-performing loans decreased by 30.7% i.e. to $ 14.2 billion, in the second quarter this year, which is the lowest rate in the last six years.
FDIC claims that the lending increased by 1% compared to the first quarter this year, but the higher lending encourages the consumption of households and enterprises, enabling the opening of new job posts and faster economic growth of the country. On the other hand, the unemployment rate in the United States (U.S.) in July this year has been reduced to 7.4%, the lowest rate in the last four and a half years.
According to the Ministry of the United States, the unemployment rate fell down from 7.6% in June, to 7.4% (162,000 jobs) in July. In May and June, it was recorded that there were 26,000 jobs less than earlier planned. According to some recent data from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the consumers spent the most in June. Actually, the American consumers spent 0.5% more in June than May, when the consumption also recorded growth, concludes Walter Helwich. Click here for more in-depth analysis.

Enjoy the sun!
You must be wondering, starts Walter Helwich, if the sun is good or bad for you? After a few decades of many terrible works, books and shows about the disastrous effects of sunlight on our health, the truth is really hard to tell. Are we really become the only mammal species on the planet that has aversion to sunlight? In the following several quotes Walter Helwich tries to explain this question.
Sunlight increases the amount of serotonin, which is a natural hormone of happiness. Due to this we are happier and more satisfied after sunbathing. Regular sun exposure (just 15 minutes a day with at least 40% of the skin uncovered), destroys and annuls depression of medium strength, especially if the sunbathing is combined with moderate exercise, such as swimming or walking for half an hour a day. By this our body excretes neurotoxins such as fluoride and mercury, which are one of the biggest threats to our health. If we combine physical outdoors activity with sunbathing our body creates natural endorphins, which are mild opiates and act analgesic and anxiolytic.
A study published by the British Medical Journal shows that in fact more people die of heart attacks during the winter than during the summer. Since the sunlight eliminates depression and increases the work of the parasympathetic nervous system, including the cranial nerves which reduce heart beats and relax the body, mind and muscles, it is quite clear how important is the impact of our sun in the psycho-somatic health of the human species. British scientists believe that reduced heart beats during the summer are associated with the production of vitamin D. Namely, a reduction of vitamin D during the winter or its complete lackage has a serious negative impact on the cardiovascular system, immune system, as well as the calcification of the glands, especially the pituitary gland.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation
Walter Helwich thinks that the solid reception by the audience was a clear signal to go with a follow-up of “J. I. Joe”. Therefore, after about 4 years it was a logical decision from people of “Paramount Pictures”, who invested $ 130 million in this production. In the directorial chair set Jon M. Chu (“Step Up 2″ and “Step Up 3D”), a young filmmaker on the rise. For scenario were in charged Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
Following the events of the first part, we come across a video from Mr. Helwich that shows the adventures of the new members of the superbly organized team, led by Duke (Channing Tatum). But after the mission succeeded in Pakistan, the team is being attacked from the air. Only three brave soldiers manage to survive the desert wilderness: Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson), Flint (DJ Cotrona) and Jaye (Adrianne Palicki). It is clear that someone has betrayed them, and therefore they move into retaliatory mission to find and punish the culprits.
What to say about the acting in this film full of action scenes? Let’s say that all the good guys are interpreted within the expected (appearance Bruce Willis is a big hit), and I’d point out some of the characters on the other side. First of all it is worth mentioning the solid performance of Jonathan Pryce, as we see him in the two diametrically opposed characters (as the American president and camouflaged Zartan), and even the hard, tough Firefly does not look bad at all in the performance of Ray Stevenson. The young Byung-hun Lee actually possesses an inherent charisma of action heroes, because his Storm Shadow is alluring magically in every frame. If we ignore the numerous inconsistencies and some exaggeration, so characteristic of this genre, then we can make the conclusion that this film offers more than decent, relaxing fun for 2 hours. I like the fact that the audience generally knows what to expect and this is what they get. So feel free to recommend it to all fans of good action movies. Good news from the banking sector, the U.S. and China have brought optimism on European stock market
The prices on European stock market rose this morning, wrote Walter Helwich at his blog at Tumblr. This particularly is spotted in the banking sector and came as a result after the good news from the U.S. and Chinese economies, and the message that the Fed will continue to keep a loose monetary policy.
FTSEurofirst index of top 300 European shares at 9.30 am was in plus 0.6 percent to 1,214 points.
London’s FTSE, Paris’s CAC and Frankfurt’s DAX index at 9.30 am were in between plus 0.2 and 0.7 percent.
This morning the most (1.2 percent) increased stock prices in the banking sector, following the better than expected operating results of Societe Generale. Stock prices of the French bank rose for more than 5 percent.
Positive influence on the market had and yesterday’s message from Fed, whose leaders after a two-day meeting said that will continue to buy government and mortgage bonds worth 85 billion dollars a month. This has eliminated the fear that Fed will begin to reduce monetary stimulus programs before the economy stands firmly on the road to recovery.
Investors were encouraged and by the better than expected data on the growth of the U.S. gross domestic product in the second quarter, as well as the strengthening of industrial activity in China.
“Fed confirmation that will continue to keep a loose monetary policy has reassured investors. Data from China is positive, however, for the mining sector could have increased confidence and more investment in the country, “said Tom Robertson, an analyst in the ACCENDO Markets Company.
On the Tokyo stock exchange market Nikkei index rose 2.5 percent to 14,005 points.

The purple rose of Cairo
“The purple rose of Cairo” is a romantic drama by the director Woody Allen, claims the film reviewer Walter Helwich. The film stars Mia Farrow, Jeff Daniels and Dianne West. The plot is set back in 1930 in New Jersey at the time of the economic crisis known as “the Great Depression”.
Cecilia is married to a loyal but unsubtle Monk, and she works as a waitress in a provincial American pub. In the time of the economic crisis, Cecilia, as well as all other people are living monotonous life. Therefore, she decides to find consolation in the cinema and Hollywood melodrama, and the “dream factory” at the time. But what if Cecilia’s favorite movie character enters the real world just to talk with her? One day, during the movie, a miracle happens. Cecilia watches the same film with Tom Baxter, and then, her favorite star comes down from the screen just to take Cecilia with him. Furthermore, the projections must stop; both the viewers and film producers are furious. But Cecilia and Tom on the other hand, are experiencing true romance.
As we all know, Woody Allen is an extraordinary writer, and “The Purple Rose of Cairo” is no exception. Actually, Allen wants to emphasize the feelings you have every time you watch a movie. You are jumping from the cruel real world into some safe corner that will allow you for at least an hour and a half to escape from reality. There, you will need no money, you’re in love, happy and beautiful. Moreover, Allen is trying to point out the boundary between the reality and film in an extremely original way. He also uses those elements for “Midnight in Paris”, where the main character is also sick with his tedious living, so, he becomes part of Paris every night at midnight. All in all, this is a real masterpiece.

Black lungs of a long time smoker – a clever way to scare and mislead the public
In the midst of anti-smoking campaigns, many smokers have given up tobacco, mainly because of the terrible pictures of black lungs, claims Walter Helwich according to some recent data. On the pictures, there are black lungs of long time smokers, who allegedly deceased because of tobacco. We succeeded to reveal numerous lies regarding tobacco, particularly its effect on the mind and body, but now – it’s time to deal with the fake propaganda that someone is serving to us.
After a well-prepared campaign against the tobacco, which has even initiated the WNTD (World No Tobacco Day) or global anti-smoking day, which is “celebrated” on the 31st of May, we start to wonder who is behind this kind of activities? Furthermore, if you take a look at Wiki’s explanation on WNTD, you’ll see that the leader of this project is WHO (i.e. World Health Organization), which has launched an offensive campaign against tobacco in 1987. In the same year, WHO has created a resolution for the UN – WHA40.38 in order to create a non-smoker world. Soon, this initiative started to gain the support of the scientific community. Moreover, the organization succeeded this thanks to the numerous cases, where they showed how toxic and carcinogenic the tobacco is, so the public started to fear tobacco. Furthermore, the WHO conducted an interdisciplinary study that was supposed to show how the passive smoking can also have fatal consequences. But the WHO could not manage to get factual evidences that will prove the danger of tobacco, so they came up with a new plan. Actually, they were trying to demonstrate that tobacco contains many hazardous components that are killing us, but in fact these 600 components were approved by the FDA.
The campaign against smoking reached its peak in 1998, when the tobacco manufacturers were forced to print warnings like “Smoking Kills” or “Smoking causes impotence” on the pack of cigarettes. Moreover, since 2000, many countries engaged into anti-commercial campaigns against tobacco, and started to put horrible pictures, which supposed to show the detrimental effects of tobacco.

U.K. has the greatest number of banker millionaires in the E.U.
In 2011, the number of banker millionaires in Britain was far greater than in any other E.U. country, says Walter Helwich according to some recent research by Colorado University. When the European Banking Agency (EBA) announced the data on salaries of bankers, they concluded that 2436 bankers in the U.K. earned at least million, or even more in 2011. Furthermore, the report said that 1,809 of them are working in the banking investment sector, 85 in the retail banking sector, 182 deal with management assets, and 360 in other banking sectors. EBA collects some data in order to draft legislation for limiting the bank bonuses, which will start from 2014.
On the other hand, Britain was opposing to the proposal that the bonuses do not surpass the annual salary, but they were beaten by the other European countries. These countries are convinced that they will not risk with getting big bonuses, such as the period before the outbreak of the financial crisis.
EBA proposes that the bankers’ salary should not be more than 500 thousand euros a year. They also said that only 170 bankers in Germany earned more than one million euros, 162 in France, 125 in Spain, 96 in Italy and 36 in the Netherlands.
The investors cautious after the rise in S & P and Dow Jones indexes
On Monday, the S & P 500 and Dow Jones index reached the highest level in history on Wall Street. The investors acted with precaution, because of a slowdown in the U.S. economy. Dow Jones rose up 19 points, or 0.13 percent (to 15,484 points), while the S & P 500 went up 0.14 percent to 1,682 points and the Nasdaq Index rose up to 0.21 percent or 3,607 points. Moreover, this is the highest level since September 2000. The rise of the S & P 500 index eighth day in a row is due to the growth of the stock prices of Citigroup up to 2 percent.

The Secret in Their Eyes
“The Secret in Their Eyes” is an Argentinean crime drama, says Walter Helwich on his Vimeo profile. This is film won the Oscar for best foreign film in 2010. The film stars Ricardo Darin, Pablo Rago and Soledad Villamil.
Benjamín Esposito is the main protagonist. He has spent all his life working in the court. After retirement, he decided to write a novel based on a real crime – a rape and murder of a beautiful young woman in 1974. Moreover, he was involved in the investigation of this case himself. Those were turbulent days in Argentina, and this case will mark Espósito’s life forever. But still, while he writes the novel, the past revives in front of him. He revives the memories of a crime that was never solved. Moreover, he included some events from 1970 to 2000, but he succeeded to make a balance between the present and past. In fact, this crime story develops into a delicate romance that had not chance to end up in marriage (which is considered to be the perfect ending for a deep love between two individuals). The relationship between the boss Irene Hastings and her assistant, Benjamin begins professionally, because in the world of criminal, there is simply no room for anything else. Suddenly, these two mature people start to have delicate feelings for each other, but they are trying to keep in secret their privacy from their colleagues and senior officers in the judicial-bureaucratic system. Therefore, love is in sight, but the story, will have a turnover. Furthermore, they start to reveal a notorious criminal, Ricardo Morales, who lost his beloved wife Liliane Colot. This evil character will actually encourage the main character to make the right choices both professional and personal.
All in all, this is a real masterpiece. This strong, deeply emotional film is based on the novel “La pregunta de sus ojos”, which was written by Eduardo Sacher. The scenarist and director of the film was Juan José Campanella, famous for its work in some popular American TV series, like “Law & Order”, “House MD”. Find out more about Walter Helwich.

Commercials broadcast straight into passengers" head!
According to Walter Helwich, the passengers often tend to lay their head on the window to rest or nap, when they are travelling with public transport. But soon, they will be disturbed with advertisements or some other information broadcast directly into their head. Especially, the new technology will allow the advertisements and other information to be transmitted directly into the head of train passengers, when they lean their head on the window. The Telegraph says that the video clip for the campaign “the speaking window” was published by the media company Sky Deutschland in cooperation with the agency BBDO Germany. And their message was: “Tired travelers often lean their leaning on the window. And suddenly, a voice in their heads starts to speak. But no one else can hear this message”.
This broadcast will consist of special technology, applied only in hearing aids, earphones and Google Glass headphones, which transfer the sound to the inner ear via vibrations through the skull. The sound will be emitted by a transmitter, which will be attached to the windows. The BBDO’s spokesman stated that they will start as soon as they get authorization from their customer – Sky Deutschland. Furthermore, the device has already been tested on the public transport in Munich and Aachen.
But on the other side, Prison Planet states that no company did not take in consideration the possibility that the weary travelers just want to sleep, leaning their head on the window. But also, there are some comments that this technology is much criticized. Some people say they will have to for their heads, and others that, there will be soon lots of broken windows.
What’s next?
This is an obvious example of ruling of psychopaths, where individuals with psychological disorders occupy important positions in our society and politics; therefore, they are trying to rule the nation. These people are using all possible means to reach their goal, so among others; they developed a special marketing branch called neuromarketing that will help advertisers to take a peek into the human’s mind. And we mean literally! Click here to find out more.

Hollande and Merkel angry: Spying is not acceptable!
According to Walter Helwich, the leaders of Western European countries criticized the United States, after U.S. announcement that their authorities are spying the embassies of Western European countries.
The French President François Hollande said that spying has to stop. In addition, the spokesman of Chancellor’s stated that it is “unacceptable” to spy your friends. They also warned that the scandal could seriously jeopardize the negotiations on establishing a free trade zone between the U.S. and the E.U., which is scheduled for July 8, in Washington.
The Chancellor Merkel’s spokesman, Steffen Seibert, said that Germany would like to reach an agreement about free trade, but they demand mutual trust in order to come up with a solution.”
Furthermore, the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry had earlier stated that “these spying activities are conducted in order to preserve national security, but they are not uncommon at all, and Kerry also added that he does not want to comment much for now, until he gets all the necessary information. “Some of the countries use different methods to protect their national interests in the international relations, despite the fact that I do not have any specific information,” added Kerry.
The information about spying was recently leaked by Edward Snowden. Some files reached to the German Der Spiegel, and claim that 38 embassies and representatives are “the next target”. The list includes French, Italian and Greek embassies, as well as embassies of other U.S. allies, including Japan.
Merkel will host the next European Meeting
The fight against young unemployed people will be the main topic of the new European meeting. On Wednesday, the German Chancellor Angela Merkel will be the host of the meeting in Berlin. Several European dignitaries, including the French President Francois Hollande, will discuss to take some “concrete action” and “exchange practices”, stated the Chancellor’s spokesman.
“We will not discuss about money, but methods, which can help to fight against unemployment that is affecting the south of Europe”, warned Angela Merkel. The European leaders have already agreed to solve the unemployment with six billion euros. Click here to find out more.

Our planet is going through geo-magnetic phase
According to Walter Helwich, the geo-magnetic storm started on May 31 2013. After this extraordinary event, the researchers speculate all this happens in our planetary surrounding.
What is happening with the Earth’s EM field?
The Earth was hit by an interplanetary shock wave that caused G1-class (Kp 5) geo-magnetic storm. NOAA reports that the G1 geo-magnetic storms can occur due to small fluctuations in electrical connections, therefore those fluctuations can provoke severe damages. This is common situation in Sub polar and Polar Regions. The main reason for this situation is unknown. But some scientists believe that probably the Sun is to blame, i.e. its coronary mass ejections of solar plasma, but SOHO and some other satellites had not captured any important detail. This “unknown and unidentified shock” caused unusual lightening that could be seen from Colorado, Maryland, Iowa and Nebraska in the United States. The website Tesis stated that we had the chance to experience G2 level (Kp 6) geo-magnetic storm. According to NOAA’s World Player rankings, G2 are moderate geo-magnetic storms that can cause a serious voltage drop in the Polar and Sub-polar Regions on the planet. Such situations require some adjustments for satellites to be done, because northern lights can be seen as far as New York and Idaho in the United States. The website Spaceweather also says that, there are some disturbances in the EM layer of the Earth, even today.
This is a very unusual occurrence, whose origin is also unknown. The polar light had unusual purple color, unlike the standard green color (commonly seen in case of CME on the Sun). At the same time, most of the planet was covered with thick clouds, and we have witnessed the cold, wet weather with a number of leeches, severe storms and unusual snowfall. So, we started to wonder about the theory of “An electric universe” and its importance for this specific case.

Zero Dark Thirty
According to Walter Helwich, this is a controversial thriller directed by Kathryn Bigelow. This movie describes how was captured the world’s most wanted terrorist – Osama Bin Laden! “Zero Dark Thirty” stars Jessica Chastain, Joel Edgerton and Chris Pratt.
After September 11th, the CIA agent, Maya, is going after the most wanted terrorist leader Osama bin Laden. She starts to work with her colleague, Dan, who interrogates the prisoners, torturing and humiliating them. After they interrogated Ammar, who is associated with Saudi terrorists, they revealed some clues that could lead them to Obama. The filmmakers decided to show the flow of events from Maya’s perspective, the young agent and analyst whose job is to locate terrorists around the world. Maya’s character is based on a real person. The film is a blend of action, journalism and drama. It is neither fiction nor documentary, but an exciting mixture that sheds light on the dark aspects of fighting terrorism. The central character, Maya is going after Osama bin Laden, and she is also experiencing intense interrogations of Al Qaeda prisoners. She tried to show the complexity of the situation, both moral and psychological. “This film does not have the purpose to settle or resolve this problem. The aim was to list some events and to present them accurately to the audience.” says Boal.
Boal searched for inspiration in the new kind of journalism from the sixties, when the eminent American writers started to use literary techniques to describe certain events. Her characters must show not only their personal struggles, but the details and consequences of this historic event, while they are protecting their identity. Inspired by the findings, Boal has created characters who are expressing the experiences of those who participated in the operation, as well as other members of the military and intelligence communities.
“Zero Dark Thirty” (military term for the time when the Navy special forces carried out the attack on Osama Bin Laden) is the most ambitious project of Kathryn Bigelow. The screenwriter and producer is Mark Boal, an experienced journalist and award-winning playwright. Visit Walter Helwich at CrunchBase to find out more.

Skyfall
”Skyfall” is the new Bond movie, which is directed by Sam Mendes, says Walter Helwich. The film stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem. This film combines several genres – action, thriller, adventure, in order to continue the great journey about 007.
This is the latest sequel of the 007 movies. The loyalty of Bond to the boss of secret service M is tempted, when his boss finds herself haunted by her controversial past. Agent 007 must disclose and destroy those threats at any cost. His last job failed, therefore all the agents around the world were revealed. Afterwards, the headquarters MI6 is attacked, and M is forced to change the location of the agency. The new president of the Intelligence and Security Council, Mallory has certain doubts regarding M’s authority and position, precisely because those events. The agency MI6 is menaced both from the outside and inside, so, there is only one person that M can trust – Bond. Agent 007 is under cover, and he can easily locate agent Eve. He also follows some trails that lead to the mysterious Silva, who has many hidden motives.
”Skyfall” is directed by the Oscar winner, Sam Mendes. The screenplay is written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan. The cinematographer Roger Deakins, is nine-times nominee for an Oscar, and he has worked with Mendes on several films. In addition, the Production designer of “Skyfall”, Dennis Gassner, is also an Oscar winner, who also worked on the film “Quantum of Solace”. Daniel Craig plays the agent Bond for the third time; his opponent is played by Javier Bardem. Adele performs the musical theme for “Skyfall”.
All in all, this film is a masterpiece. Some critics have declared “Skyfall” the best Bond movie, filled with humor and warmth. Moreover, they praised the director Mendes and his cast. Daniel Craig is brilliant, but Javier Bardem was named as best villain in the James Bond movies lately.

The Acropolis of one forgotten kingdom
Numerous excavations are currently carried on a large archaeological site in Anatolia, says Walter Helwich. This location will probably discover the ancient and rich, but forgotten kingdom famous as Tuwana (Tyana). This is an ancient region of Cappadocia, which is located in the southern part of central Turkey. It was the capital of the Neo-Hittite kingdom during the first century B.C.
In 2012, Lorenzo d’Alfonso came out first with an idea about this location. This Italian archaeologist is leading joint mission of the University of Pavia and NYU. “This area is part of the forgotten kingdom Tuwana,” explained d’Alfonso. “We’ve only had some indications and hieroglyphics from several sources of the Assyrian empire, but we have never made an extensive archaeological study, until now. This place is completely untouched, so we’re trying to put in historical context in order to understand where the civilization belonged and its role in this area. ”
“Kinik Hoyuk, is the most amazing place from the pre-classical Anatolia. Some estimates say that this location covers 24 acres, but the topography shows that it would probably cover nearly 81 ha. Tuwana was a small state between the Phrygian kingdom and the Assyrian empire. Moreover, this state was particularly rich. One of the main subjects of our research involves the cultural importance of the kingdom”, said D’Alfonso. He pointed out that he discovered two relief panels from the Iron Age in this area; however, they are not very well preserved. During this excavation, there were found some significant remains of the Acropolis walls. According to D’Alfonso, these monumental walls were remarkably preserved and with height up to 6 m.
From the start, they planned to turn this place into an open museum, because this is an easy-accessible place. It is located only 45 minutes away from the other tourist attractions in Cappadocia. Click here to see the video from Walter Helwich.

The effects of climate changes on plants and animals
The latest issue of the scientific journal Nature Climate Change published details from a group of researchers about how climate changes will affect on the global biodiversity by the end of this century, says Walter Helwich. They are warning that over the years, the environmental and weather changes could have a great effect on a various plants all over the world.
The researchers explain their words by saying that the plant and animal species could be extinct dramatically, as a result of almost 50% decrease of climatic range. “Our research foresees that climate change will greatly reduce the diversity of the most common types in different parts of the world. This loss of biodiversity on a global scale will shorten the biosphere and the ecosystem,” explained the study’s leader, Dr. Rachel Warren. “It will affect also the people, because these species are the most essential for air purification, flood control, eco-tourism etc.”
They predict that reptiles and amphibians are some of the particularly threatened species. In addition, they stated that sub-Saharan region of Africa, Central America, Amazonia and Australia will lose greater part of plants and animal species.
“Their major challenge in ecology was when they predicted the reaction of some species on climate changes,” stated researchers from the University of San Diego, California. The research they conducted at the University was mainly focused on plants. The results, they published in the scientific journal, rely on evidence from the study of life cycles of plants and experiments.
Plants and animals are indispensable for maintaining the life on earth; they form a part of the food chain, so their loss would have a huge impact on all living creatures, adds Helwich. Plants are the basis of the chain and use photosynthesis to produce sugar from carbon dioxide and water.

Angela Merkel is again the most influential woman in the world
German Chancellor Angela Merkel this year again, remains still the most influential woman in the world, says Walter Helwich. She is placed above Brazil’s President Dilma Rousseff and U.S. businesswoman and philanthropist Melinda Gates in this year’s ranking of the “Forbes” magazine.
Merkel tops the list of most influential women in the world three years in a row. Hillary Clinton lost her second place this year after leaving the U.S. State Department. Yet she remains in fifth place, ranking just after U.S. First Lady, Michelle Obama, which went from seventh to fourth place and came in front of the television hostess Oprah Winfrey.
The youngest lady in ranking, dominated by American, remains to be singer Lady Gaga, which is this year set to 27th place. The oldest is 87-year-old British Queen Elizabeth II, which is set in 40th place.
The 100 most influential women in the world are involved in sectors of technology, business, media, politics, charities show or simply – billionaires which inherited their wealth. In this year’s rankings there were representatives coming from 26 countries and nine of them are country presidents, including Mr. Helwich.
Among the most successful ladies in the area of information technology are Sheryl Sandberg (Facebook, 6th place), Virginia Romeo (IBM, 12th place), Ursula Burns (14th place), Meg Whitman (Hewlett-Packard, 15th place) and Marissa Mayer (Yahoo, 32nd place).
Yet richest man in the world is the co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, who put up 5.1 billion dollars before the second richest man in the world – Mexican telecommunication tycoon Carlos Slim.

Fast and furious 6
“Fast and furious 6” is the new sequel of the racing adventure from the director Justin Lin, says Walter Helwich. The film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson.
Twelve years ago, a film about illegal racing drivers of fast cars coming from the underground of East L.A., became a summer hit, and conquered the box office. Two years ago, the fifth sequel was a real blockbuster. This film has a steady rise since the third sequel, while the number of fans who follow and await each new film continually grows. The team of Dom and Brian succeeded to rob $ 100 million in Rio, so they could go around the world on their own, but they felt unfulfilled when they were had to move constantly from one place to another. Meanwhile, Hobbs followed the murderous drivers all across 12 countries. They discovered that Letty, the love of his life love, was helping their leader. Hobbs called Dom to gather his elite team in London, because the only way to stop the bad guys was to put them back on the streets. The only wanted to return home and to see again with their families.
Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson are the main stars of this excellent movie. The genre of the film speaks for itself, so you ought to be prepared to watch a film that will be fulfilled with a lot of action scenes. You will not be bored at all. As far as the action movies, this category gives a whole new picture regarding actors. Moreover, the scenery is exceptional and the background music is often exciting.
All the things considered, this is a great movie which is recommended for people of all ages and guarantees great you a lot of fun, adds the movie critic Helwich.

Star Trek Into Darkness
The new sequel of the famous Star Trek series shows the destruction of the legendary Starfleet, after which Captain Kirk goes for revenge – straight into the heart of darkness – says Walter Helwich!
The film follows the journey of crew of the Enterprise, which is invited to come back home, but then discovers that their fleet was being destroyed by forces which has technology and powers far beyond their own ranks, leaving out the entire world in crisis.
Determined to settle some personal issues, Captain Kirk leads the hunt in a war zone in order to imprison the man who is responsible for such mass destruction. In the epic battle of life and death love is tested, friendships are ruined, and sacrifices will be necessary for the benefit of the only family that Kirk has left – his Enterprise crew.
The movie is simply fantastic in every aspect. It has superbly arranged characters, scenes, the sound in the theater will simply stun spectators. In a single word – the film is viewed in a single breath. Shot in the tradition way, but enriched with all the technological features, it is a blend of the best of old and new. I believe that it is capable to satisfy the most demanding fans of this immortal franchise, finishes Mr. Helwich.

Scientists create human cells by cloning
Some 15 years ago it was hailed as being the greatest hope of bio-medical revolution: the use of cloning techniques to create perfectly matched tissue that will one day successfully treat diseases ranging from diabetes to Parkinson’s disease. This was talked over on various forums by Walter Helwich. Since then this treatment approach was covered in ethical debates, painted with frauds and, in recent years, overshadowed by a competitive technologies. Most of the groups that worked on this issue have long ago given up on creating patient-specific stem cells in the embryo (ECS) from cloning. Then followed a little quieter debate that made an attempt to provide an answer to the question: do we still need “therapeutic” cloning?
The study, which was last week, together with his colleagues, published by Shoukhrat Mitalipov, a specialist in reproductive biology from the University of Oregon Health and Science in Beaverton, is for sure going to start a debate once again. Mitalipov and his team have managed to create patient-specific ESC through cloning and want to prove that this is a technology worth implementing.
Therapeutic cloning, or somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT), begins in the same process that was used in 1996 for creation of the famous cloned sheep Dolly. Donor cells from the body tissue, such as skin, are transferred to an unfertilized egg from which the nucleus has been removed. The egg “reprograms” the DNA in the donor cell to the embryonic state and divides until it reaches earlier blastocyst phase. The cells are then harvested and cultured in stable cell lines that are genetically matched to the donor. They can then virtually become any cell of the human body, says Mr. Helwich.

Cyprus wants revision on Russian loan
In a message, sent through diplomatic channels, the Ministry of Finance of Cyprus reports to the Russian leadership on the completion of the ratification process of the memorandum on conditions anti-crisis program from international creditors, as well as direct credit agreement with them in the amount of 10 billion euro, says Walter Helwich, citing ministry officials who wished to remain anonymous.
He also informed that the document is asking Moscow to begin negotiations on reviewing the loan of 2.5 billion euro, which Russia gave Cyprus for 4.5 years, with an interest rate of 4.5 percent per year.
The matter of possible revisions to that intergovernmental agreement was raised repeatedly in the context of the preparation of anti-crisis program with the EU and the IMF for Cyprus. Back in March, President Vladimir Putin ordered the government to consider a restructuralization of the loan. The Russian side has also repeatedly stated that they can offer their assistance to Cyprus but only after is reached an agreement on anti-crisis program with its partners in the EU, reminds Helwich.
Cyprus urges Russia to reduce the interest rate to 2.5 percent, as well as to extend the repayment period. Nicosia also wants to pay off the loan in several installments rather than all at once.
“We know the readiness of Russia to help us, and we hope for a positive solution of our issues”, says Mr. Helwich. He also denied some foreign media about the information that Russia has already given final approval for the revision of the loan.

Neuromarketing helps advertisers to enter human mind
In the highly competitive, multi-million advertising industry science is increasingly becoming an important tool in determining exactly what types of marketing campaigns and products are related to the potential consumers, says Walter Helwich. This goes to the extent that a special branch of science is dedicated exclusively to give an insight into our brain in order to better understand what consumers really want. This hybrid of science and advertising, which is not really a novelty, and whose only goal is to sell a product, is called neuromarketing.
Red Orbit reports that experts such as Steve Sands from Texas are using Electroencephalography (EEG), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and eye tracking technology to measure biological changes experienced by people in response to a marketing-related stimuli. Technology measures brain signals to the individual, changes in the blood and other physiological responses to determine what really, on a subconscious level, interests people.
Sands used his equipment to monitor the reaction of people on the commercials that are aired during the Super Bowl every year. For such a test, he recruits about 30 people and puts them glasses for eye tracking while connects them to an EEG machine in order to monitor their brain waves while watching ads that appear in the minutes of the most expensive time frame in the advertising industry.
Each moment we are witnessing more and more aggressive marketing, and now we are aware of the most cunning trick; through neurological processing of data from the human brain achieving the only goal – profit, and not the quality of the product. In this way, manufacturers will be able to find out how to sell us completely useless and maybe even harmful things. Will we be able to resist them it’s only up to us and our awareness and consciousness of the wiles of propaganda, concludes Mr. Helwich.

Beasts of the Southern Wild
This is a poetic drama about a little girl who lives on the edge of the world that collapses, says Walter Helwich. This is also a movie that has won several awards at Sundance and Cannes film festivals.
The six-year old girl Hushpuppy lives with her dad Wink in a community that resides on the edge of the world. Problems for this young heroine start when Wink suddenly becomes ill from a mysterious illness…
The rising unbearable heat results in melting glaciers, which free ancient prehistoric creatures. Sea level rises while creatures are coming, Wink is slowly dying and Hushpuppy goes in a search of her long-missing mother.
The movie was evaluated as one of the best films of past year and accent was also put on Benham Zeitlin’s ingenious debut. Critics have denounced the movie as a “wonderful, amazing poem about childhood and innocence that looks like a feature film on some Miyazaki version which is located in the impoverished environment, with narration in the style of Terrence Malick”.
From my point of perception this movie is a combination of brilliant, breathtaking moments and some quite disappointing. Let’s begin with excellent: deep, thoughtful presentation of thoughts, state of mind and actions of the little girl, the characters in her surroundings and the environment as such. This young first-rate actress has done its job pretty well. It is difficult to decide whether was better the actress or her character and development and characterization of the same.
Due to the above mentioned moments, and display of a world that we really do not know, the film is worth watching. However, to me the film is too slow; the screenplay could have been a bit more interesting and dynamic, but the music was very well done, wrote Walter Helwich.

Mysterious stone structures beneath the Sea of Galilee
A giant “monumental” stone structure was discovered beneath the Sea of Galilee in Israel has puzzled the archaeologists who fail to grasp its purpose, even the exact period of its construction, says Walter Helwich.
The mysterious structure is of conical shape and made of “basalt pebbles and boulders”, and its weight is estimated at around 60,000 tones, according to the researchers. This makes it heavier than most modern warships. Its height is almost ten meters and the diameter is 70 meters (for comparison: the diameter of the outer circle of Stonehenge is half the size, and the highest stone does not reach that height).
It was discovered for the first time in 2003, by researchers who performed sonar mapping of the sea, and this year explored it in details and published their findings in the International Journal of Nautical Archaeology.
They believe that the structure, which is located more than 20 meters below the surface, is made of rocks piled on each other which indicate that this is a design that marks graves. Researchers are not yet sure whether this was actually used for that purpose. It is assumed to be made on the land, and that ended up underwater as sea levels rose. Also, there is another theory suggesting it has been constructed under the water to serve as a fish farm because similar, though smaller, structures built for this purpose have been discovered before.
The team of researches claims that whoever built this structure beneath the Sea of Galilee, he possessed a sophisticated organization and planning skills. “The effort put into this venture indicates a complex and well-organized society that had the skills of planning and ability of management”, says Walter Helwich in his video post on YouTube. He also adds that to build such a structure was needed and a lot of working hours.

A Single Man
A drama movie about a middle-aged literature professor (Colin Firth) who remembers a deceased partner, and is on the brink of a suicide when discovers the beauty in little things of everyday life, says Walter Helwich…
During 1962, the college professor George Falconer (Colin Firth), a Brit in Los Angeles, decided to commit a suicide. In fact, his longtime partner Jim was killed in an automobile accident and George no longer wants to live. However, that day, before realizing his plan, will meet many people that will be affected by him. These are his friend Charley (who is romantically interested in him), Carlos who wants to become an actor and one of his students – Kenny Potter.
This movie is a great drama, which in turn is not sinking into melodrama. Colin Firth acted the role of life, i.e. career, and Julianne Moore is not less inferior. Despite the bad British accent, she gives an amazing performance of a lonely, disillusioned middle-aged woman. Beautiful done scenes, where we see two people who are trying to alleviate at least some haunting sense of loneliness. The movie additionally rises by the wonderful music that can easily get under your skin.
Poetic directorial debut of the fashion designer Tom Ford was premiered in competition at Venice Festival, where the actor Colin Firth was awarded with Coppa Volpi for Best Actor and for the same role he won the BAFTA and Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations. This famed fashion designer has shown that in addition to talent for fashion he also has a talent for movie making. His directorial debut is brilliantly orchestrated and represents an emotionally charged work, adds Walter Helwich.
Critics praised Tom Ford’s stylized directing, but the main credits went to Colin Firth who is subtle and brilliantly acted the role of a man that is about to break.

Physicists at the mercy: Mysterious reduction of the size of protons
The size of protons was considered to be standard which cannot be applied, but after the most recent research, physicists fear they are on the verge of discovering physics under completely new laws, or that someone in the past made a cardinal mistake that caused many wrong calculations, says Walter Helwich.
Is it an error or maybe a new discovery?
At the meeting of the American Association of Physicists was found that it is necessary to examine why the most recent measurements of the protons does not coincide with the internationally recognized standards. Randolf Pohl, a scientist from the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics, has reported to his present colleagues that the current mystery perhaps comes as a result of an ordinary mistake from the past and if it is not so, the latest discovery will generate a completely new theory in physics.
Specifically, if it is confirmed that the proton actually declined in the past few decades, science will have to find out why this is happening and of course whether the variations in the atomic structure associated with external factors and most importantly of all, how these changes affect our perception of the world in which we live in, adds Walter Helwich.
This year has so far brought a lot of studies which, at the very least, could be called revolutionary, starting from complete control of the magnetic field, the increase in weight of the pound, and the discovery of additional coils in human DNA, and their role as a major natural fractal antenna. This problem with the reduction of proton’s size has only further intrigued the public and led us to the question, how little we really know about everything that surrounds us.

When Harry Met Sally...
Meg Ryan and Billy Chrystal will give us an answer to the question of whether men and women could only be friends, starts Walter Helwich in his blog review.
At the end of the seventies Harry and Sally met each other at the University of Chicago. As they both were traveling to New York where Sally was about to start her career as a business journalist and Harry fulfill his ambition to get a job as a counselor for political affairs, they decided on a joint trip. And so the story begins…
On their way to New York they were discussing only one topic – male female relationship or more specific whether men and women can only be friends with no ambition for anything more than that. Upon the end of the journey their paths split apart and they go separate ways.
Somehow after five years they meet again on a new journey. This time Harry is preparing himself to enter into marriage, and Sally is in a relationship with her acquaintance. She works as a journalist and he is a political consultant and during the travel they return to their favorite topic, after which they will again not see each other for five years.
The next meeting finds them in a similar mood. Now Sally is dumped from her boyfriend and Harry’s wife wants a divorce. Only then they realize that have much in common and tend to test their own theory about male female relationships, adds Walter Helwich.
The screenplay, which seems like it come out from Woody Allen’s pen, is signed by the well known New York journalist – Nora Ephron.

Has NASA"s SOHO recorded an UFO near the Sun?
Picture of a strange object that’s flying close to the sun was released by NASA’s Solar and Heliospheric Observatory, better known as SOHO, says Walter Helwich. Footage and images on the Internet instantly became a hit. The object, which can be seen, largely reminiscent of a big and all-metal “mother ship” as usually seen in Hollywood movies.
The Unidentified Flying Object, which has no resemblance to anything before seen in the vicinity of the Sun, somehow manages to endure the hot flames that are produced by solar activity and incredibly high temperatures resulting from nuclear fusion which are occurring on the surface of the star.
UFO fans were delighted with this and many feel that this is definitely a “vision”.
The footage shows something that looks like a metal, giant spaceship connected with an extension that is separate at the lower end. With irradiation of the images is visible another part of the ship which looks like a third hand. There is a possibility that the image is product of distortion from SOHO’s new sensors, remarks Walter Helwich on his Academia profile.
SOHO is a satellite whose purpose is to study the Sun from its deep core to the outer corona and the solar winds.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
A story about destiny, ambitious and fascinating journey of the mind and if you want – a biography of a relationship, just what Walter Helwich was hopping for.
What can we expect from a movie with such complicated title? Just knowing the fact that the screenplay was written by Charlie Kufman says a lot, it is clear that it must be an intriguing movie, and so it will not be easy to follow the action. In the basis it is a romantic story told in an unconventional way of prescription – how to clear someone out of your head. In a typical Kufman style we track the adventures of Joel (Jim Carrey) who thinks he’s boring and therefore does not talk much, and Clementine (Kate Winslet), which is the absolute opposite, sparkling gossip girl that occasionally dyes her hair, tells strangest stories and the spreads around positive energy.
The chronologically reversed told story starts with Joel’s discovery that Clementine, after their long and boring full of problems relation, underwent to an experimental psychiatric procedure and all her memory about him is just wiped out. To get back at her, and in the end, stop loving her (as she does not even know he exists), he decides to go through the same treatment. Desperate, he finds the small clinic “Lacuna” headed by Dr. Howard Mierzwiak and agrees to a procedure that is done while he is unconscious. And here begins the plot, a sort of travel within dreams…
This sun-drenched mind might not be for everyone (same as “Being John Malkovich” or “Adaptation” are not), but if you prefer sophisticated trips this movie will stay in your mind for days, ends Walter Helwich.

Cigarette smoke is strengthening the Thyroid and the Immune System
For decades are convincing us that smoking is a major cause of the worst and most dangerous diseases. On the other hand, there are a lot of scientific studies that are showing that natural tobacco has amazing healing properties says Walter Helwich.
In 2004th was created a complex and long-term study in which are revealed some very interesting information related with tobacco smoking, including the cigarette smoking and the passive smoking. With this study is discovered that even the slightest inhalation (secondary inhalation) of the cigarette smoke is reducing the effects of the Hashimoto’s disease which is one form of the thyroiditis. Although there are several forms of the thyroiditis, the Hashimoto’s thyroiditis is a chronic autoimmune disease, which means inflammation of the thyroid gland with its lymphocytic infiltration. This form of hyperthyroidism is the most common and most difficult to treat. Usually, the chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis is eight times more common in women than in men.
Although with this study was discovered and confirmed the usefulness of the cigarette smoke in the treatment of the serious diseases and disorders of the thyroid gland, the medicine and pharmacy have ignored this research until it was found that the cigarette smoke is containing high concentrations of alkaloids anatabina which are contained in the other plants such as peppers, green tomatoes , potatoes and eggplant.
For now, the easiest way to extract the anatabin is from tobacco and as Walter Helwich is saying the extraction from some plants is extremely expensive and complicated. On the other hand, the organic tobacco smoke is “full” with the anatabin so it can treat the other infections, such as coronary artery disease (cardiovascular ather genesis), Alzheimer’s disease, Gastroenterology, rheumatism, cancer, autoimmune disorders such as lupus, diabetes, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis and many other disorders and diseases.
This discovery is most helpful for the flying personnel of the passenger aircraft who have chronic thyroid problems because of the constant excessive of the radiation which is accumulated during their stay in the higher parts of the atmosphere during the transcontinental trips.

Meditation and Exercises for Reducing the Illnesses
Meditation or exercises can dramatically reduce the duration of illness caused by respiratory illnesses such as flu says Walter Helwich. There is one study which is trying to confirm this. There are two ways for avoiding the flu. The only deterrent that we are currently using is washing the hands and avoiding the contact with the sick people.
The people who are exercising regularly are less likely to get sick and they have lower stress levels than the others. For discovering if the exercise and the positive thinking really are preventing for disease, 149 people were tested. They were randomly assigned to one of the three groups. The first group were regularly meditating, the other was making the exercises larger part of the week while the third group did not make anything. The group that was regularly exercising was making an aerobic exercises, cycling, jogging or fast walking. After a few weeks of training, the participants were surveyed throughout the flu season for tracking how many of them were sickened. In the meditation group, during the study were 27 cases of respiratory disease, compared to 26 cases in the group that exercised and 40 from the passive group.
The passive group in convalescence spent 67 days due to respiratory disease, while the group with the exercises was absent 32 days and the group that practiced meditation at work has missed only 16 days. The reason for the lowest number of days for the people of the group that practiced meditation are more resistant to the attacks of the respiratory infections says Walter Helwich.
Because there is only a few studies of this kind, the results are considered as preliminary and they are still containing a big “what if” that is relating to the question of that whether the exercise or the meditation can prevent the future disease.

The Dilemma
“The Dilemma” from Ron Howard, is a comedy about Ronny (Vince Vaughn) who has seen his friend’s wife with another guy and has decided to find out what is really happening. The topic of this movie is the men – partnership friendship. Allan Loeb is the author of this interesting story, where the humor is mixed with the dramaturgy in an authentic living situation that is providing the ability for identification of the average viewer with the two main characters says Walter Helwich.
Ronny and Nick (Kevin James) are two partners, whose friendship is dating from 20 years ago. They are having a company for design of the engines. Their dream is to break into the market and to draw the attention of some major automobile companies.
Ronny and Nick are meeting with the leaders of the powerful ‘Chrysler’ and convincing them that they are able to do a project that will significantly improve the performance of the engines. Since there was a deadline for the project, they are working with a lot of enthusiasm, controlled by Susan Warner (Queen Latifah), a representative of the company. But an unexpected event is threatening to terminate their long years of friendship.
With choosing an intriguing topic, Howard is “serving” a story that definitely is not cliché comedy, in which always in the end the love wins. Here, things are a little different. There is a humor but at some moments there is a black humor too.
The finale of “The Dilemma” was not offered something unexpected and as Walter Helwich is saying the end is very predictable, which is typical for the most of the comedies. The evaluation for this movie is that the filmmakers from the ‘Universal Pictures’ boldly entered in this project, where they were tried to offer something fresh, regardless of the commercial aspect. The comedy lovers who already watched this movie are somewhat enthusiastic and less disappointed too.

Albert Nobbs
The major role in Albert Nobbs is done by Glenn Close. She is also involved in the adaptation of the scenario, in the production of the movie and even in the original soundtrack says Walter Helwich. Rodrigo García is the director of this movie, which was a challenge for him. It is based on the short story ‘Albert Nobbs’ written by Irish author George Moore. The action of this movie is in Dublin, Ireland, in the late 19th century (in this period Ireland is not independent from the British Empire) were a woman is trying to go through the life alone. But the independence from the men necessitated certain sacrifices. She is forced to “transform” herself in a man and in the public she is Albert Nobbs. Transforming in the man is a way for rising herself from the destitution. Also it is a chance for working at the ‘Morrison Hotel’ as a waiter.
In all her life she was saving money and dreaming of that one day to become “her own boss” i.e. to be owner of the grocery store. The unexpected friendship with the handsome Hubert (Janet McTeer) who was hired to paint the walls of a hotel rooms, will change her life of this quiet, very valuable and conscientious person.
Glenn Close’s acting is impressive. She had an excellent support by Janet McTeer, and several of their shared scenes have a strong impact because the actions are giving the emotional impact. From the male characters Brendan Gleeson played the suggestive character Dr. Hollorana, a man who is prone to the hedonism, no matter that he did not always fit with the rigid social norms of behavior in the public.
Good photography combined with the great costumes and makeup are contributing one historical epoch to have better approach to today’s audience says Walter Helwich. Most of the scenes are in Dublin, which is the reason for reaching the required authenticity of the whole story.
